Her classes are heavy on cueing the ‘what are you feeling’ and encouraging everyone to tap into a new sense of awareness of both the physical and energy body. She loves to be real and teaches with a light-heartedness and a sense of humor. She thinks life brings enough challenges and heaviness and yoga should be energizing and keep you wanting to come back for more!

She came to yoga originally for the physical benefits and found it had so much more to offer, bringing a new sense of direction, clarity, inner well-being, and peace to her life!

She created ‘just breathe studios’ to give others the opportunity to experience yoga & mindful movement practices in a dedicated, healing, and supportive atmosphere.
She looks forward to meeting YOU on the mat! Namaste

Amy W
Instructor
Amy has been a student of yoga since 2003. As her practice unfolded, her understanding of the connection between the body, mind and soul deepened and her interest in yoga expanded. It was her love of the practice that inspired her to complete the Anjali Yoga Teacher Training in September, 2014.

Yoga has been the vehicle for her spiritual journey. Amy believes yoga is a personal practice; therefore she encourages her students to quiet their minds, open their hearts, and be in their bodies. It is her intention to provide a serene, safe, and welcoming space where students, both new and experienced, can explore their own physical and spiritual practice.
Ro G
Instructor

Ro began practicing yoga in 2002, mostly a home based practice. When the Just Breathe Studio opened she expanded her practice by experiencing the many styles of yoga presented there. She enrolled in the Anjali Yoga Teacher Training program which became available at the Just Breathe Studio. She completed the program in 2014 and is RYT 200 hour certified through Yoga Alliance. Yoga has become such a big part of her life and she wishes to share both the physical and emotional enjoyment that can come from a regular practice through her gentle, approachable teaching style.

Terri T
Instructor

Terri is a former classroom teacher who continues her love of learning and teaching through yoga. She completed her training through Anjali Yoga in September 2015 and is registered by Yoga Alliance as RYT-200. Her training is Kripalu Yoga based, with a focus on being fully present in the moment through a combination of yoga postures and breath awareness. Classes range from gentle and meditative to a more vigorous flow style, all with an emphasis on alignment.

Terri believes that yoga is a way of life that offers increased strength, greater flexibility, and improved balance both physically and emotionally. It is her desire to share this with others.

Mark V
Instructor

After retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2009, I had my first encounter with yoga at a transition course for combat veterans, Semper Fi Odyssey, in January 2012. Instantly sensing and understanding the need to maintain connection with our body and mind through breath and movement, I began a loose practice at home – like most guys! – a bit hesitant at the time to cross the threshold of any studio. In 2014, I thankfully stepped out of my comfort zone and began a regular practice at Just Breathe. Winter of 2018 I obtained my RYT-200 certification through Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC. Currently, I am continuing training towards a RYT-300 certification through AYC as well as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification under the guidance of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.

I find yoga, meditation and mindfulness to be practices that we work with on our mat or cushion, but truly “see” when we walk out into the world and live our lives!

Carissa M
Instructor
I’m Carissa McClellan, and my journey into sound healing started in late 2020, as a personal quest for a holistic approach to my overall well-being and mental health. As life presented its challenges, I found myself seeking internal peace. It was during this exploration that I stumbled upon the effects of frequencies on the mind, body, and soul. I discovered how these vibrations can release energy and bring deep relaxation. Sound practices and meditation quickly became apart my daily morning routine for my personal growth.

With encouragement from a supportive friend and mentor, I am now excited to share my new-found passion and inspire others on their own paths of self-discovery through mindfulness and sounds with workshops or one-on-one sessions.

I invite you to join me on this journey of healing with frequencies and mindfulness.
